The Motiva Enterprises Terminal at Sewaren, N.J., on the Arthur Kill waterway opposite Staten Island, N.Y., is shown in this ariel view. At least two tanks at the facility, a joint venture of Royal Dutch Shell and Saudi Aramco, were damaged in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and leaked diesel fuel into Woodbridge Creek. The smaller tank at left has been displaced. The facility has a capacity of 5 million gallons of refined petroleum products. The United States Coast Guard assisted with clean up and recovery.
