On 19 November, Filipino negotiator Yeb Sano delivered the signatures of over 600,000 people from around the world who are joining him to call for action at the UN Climate Talks in Warsaw.
As Ministers arrived in Warsaw for the final few days of the talks, Sano met with media before going into the hall with his petition to lay out his call for action following Typhoon Haiyan. In just four days, over 600,000+ have backed his campaign which he started with Avaaz which can be seen here. Tens of thousands more citizens have signed onto other petitions with groups like 350.org, MoveOn, Friends of the Earth, and more. Together, these petitions represent an outpouring of public support for the Philippines and action at the UN Climate Talks.
